Dr. Annika Kreikenbohm works as a freelance science communicator and designer, with a background in both astrophysics and communication design. Since 2020, Dr. Annika Kreikenbohm has been designing visualizations and award-winning interactive virtual worlds around scientific topics to make complex content and data understandable and appealing to experience. In addition, as part of Astronomers for Planet Earth e.V., Dr. Annika Kreikenbohm organizes the audiovisual journey THE REGISTERS OF THE UNIVERSE and leads target group-oriented workshops on various topics (with tools from public engagement, co-creation, design thinking and data design).
