Axel Wagner

Axel Wagner is a biologist and science journalist. In addition to teaching at NaWik, he is primarily active in public broadcasting. He is an editor in the Science and Education Department of SWR. There, he is responsible for science documentaries shown on television and the ARD Mediathek. For the SWR Wissen department, he is chief of staff and – among other things – produces the program Planet Wissen there. In front of the camera, he presents science documentaries on the topics of climate, environment and nature. His book „Das Tier in Dir“ was Knowledge Book of the Year.
