Lilian Knobel

Lilian Knobel has been Managing Director of the Klaus Tschira Foundation (KTS) since November 2022. Previously, she was Chair of the Board of ‘Wissensfabrik – Unternehmen für Deutschland e.V.’ , which promotes early science education from kindergarten age onwards and supports technology-oriented startups. A fully qualified lawyer, she has held management positions at BASF and the German Chemical Industry Association, where she began her career. Within the KTS management team, Lilian Knobel is responsible for education and science communication.
