Dr. Lorenz Adlung

Dr. Lorenz Adlung holds a doctorate in systems biology and is a science slammer. For his doctoral thesis at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, he got the Gibs-Schüler-Nachwuchs Award. Lorenz can be heard on the nature-science podcast „bugtales.fm,“ which he runs together with Jasmin Schreiber, and under his stage name „do:ku“ as a science rapper. After his time as a postdoc at the Weizmann Institute in Israel, Lorenz is now leading an independent research group at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
