Lisa Burke

Lisa Burke is a broadcaster based in Luxembourg where she co-created RTL Today; news in English. There, she has a weekly chat-show covering all topics through in-depth, long-form interviews which she presents and produces. Previously, Lisa worked at Sky News in London for a decade, becoming their first science correspondent. She also lived in Abu Dhabi for two years, writing for The National’s weekend magazine. Lisa has presented numerous documentaries for RTE (Ireland), and worked with the BBC.
Lisa is a science author and consultant for children’s science books since 2005, working mostly with Dorling Kindersley. As an event moderator and speaker she travels across Europe for conferences. Clients include ESA, the European Space Agency, and the European Brain Council, amongst many others.
Lisa studied Natural Sciences, specialising in chemistry, at Cambridge University.
