The National Institute for Science Communication gGmbH provides information on our platforms about science communication and NaWik’s activities. We invite you to get involved, exchange ideas with like-minded people, or even engage in a debate on a topic.
Rules for a Respectful Exchange:
We welcome a lively exchange in which different viewpoints and opinions are shared. A clear and respectful tone is especially important in discussions.
With these netiquette guidelines, we provide you with advice and set out some rules you should follow when posting comments.

The following are not permitted:

- Troll comments that seek to derail valuable discussions
When writing posts, comply with generally applicable laws. These include, among others:

- Your posts are your own. You retain the rights to distribute the content you publish.
- Use quotes only to supplement your own statements. Clearly identify quotes and credit the authors (including a link to the original source, if applicable).
Personal Rights
The general legal provisions apply here as well. Therefore, the following are not permitted on our site:
- Insults, slander, discrimination, or defamation of other users based on their religion, nationality, sexual orientation, etc.
- Statements that harm business interests or reputation
- Allegations or unverifiable insinuations
- Publication of personal or personally identifiable information about others
In the event of violations of our rules, we will remove or edit comments. We reserve the right to delete comments that do not contribute substantively to the discussion.
