What you can expect from our training

Researchers are part of society and are therefore in demand as discussion partners in public debates and interviews. Controversial debates, in particular, present a special challenge. In this highly practical workshop, participants practise how to successfully incorporate scientific findings into debates. The focus is on building trust with the other party through persuasive arguments and appropriate body language. Strategies are also developed for defusing controversial debates or continuing them in a solution-oriented manner.

  • How do I regain control if the situation threatens to escalate?
