What you can expect from our training

Publishing research findings is an integral part of the work of scientists. Such publications are essential for academic advancement, one’s own reputation and for securing research funding. A structured approach to drafting manuscripts and a good writing style directly contribute to increasing publishing efficiency and, ultimately, to greater academic success.

The workshop offers participants a comprehensive overview of the stages of academic publishing. Participants will learn how to plan manuscripts and structure the writing process. They will receive important tips on improving their own writing style and on the sensible and transparent use of AI. Furthermore, the workshop will cover how editors think, how best to communicate with publishers, and how to increase the reach of one’s publications after they have been published.
