SciComm Program for Students
Science communication is a key competence that should already be accessible to students. For this reason, NaWik has developed a SciComm Program. It can be integrated into the curricular module plan of educational institutions and has already been successfully implemented with ECTS credits at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Components
1) Core module: Participants complete an e-learning course with a final test (topics: basics, social media, writing or presenting).
2) Optional module: Participants can deepen their knowledge in a workshop (topics: fundamentals, social media, writing or presenting).
Such a workshop can be commissioned separately from NaWik. Alternatively, we offer a Train-the-Trainer course*, which qualifies individuals at your institution to run in-depth workshops as part of SciComm programs.
* Duration: Two days of eight hours each, in person, no minimum number of participants
