What you can expect from our training

There is no getting around AI anymore. And rightly so: generative AI can help scientists present complex content in a way that is accessible to non-specialist audiences – for example, through concise texts or clear visualisations. In this training course, participants will learn how to use AI tools in a considered and targeted manner within science communication. The focus is on practical exercises that allow participants to explore the opportunities and limitations of various tools. The course also addresses issues of quality and authenticity, as well as ethical and legal aspects of working with AI. The aim is to develop a fundamental understanding of the sensible use of generative AI – in a practical, critical and application-oriented manner.

Thematic focus

  • Science communication with AI support
  • Using AI to simplify complex content for specific target audiences
  • AI-supported work on texts, images and content
  • Quality, credibility and responsibility in dealing with AI content
  • Social, ethical and legal aspects of generative AI
