Online workshop: AI in Science Communication

In this online workshop, participants will learn how to use generative AI effectively in science communication – for example, when writing clear texts or visualising complex content. During fixed seminar sessions, they will work with two lecturers to explore how AI tools can be used in a reflective, responsible and effective manner. Interactive exercises and close collaboration ensure a practical learning experience – accessible from anywhere and up to date.

Technical Requirements

The online workshop is conducted using the video conferencing software Zoom. If exercises are included in the training context, they are carried out using Google Office solutions (e.g., Google Docs or Google Forms). These applications are used within the framework of the GDPR-compliant enterprise solution Google G Suite.
Participants do not need a personal Google account to use these tools.
All tools used (Zoom & G Suite) have been reviewed for data protection compliance and meet GDPR requirements**, ensuring that participants’ personal data is protected.
