Online workshop: Arguing convincingly – communicating risks

In this online workshop, participants will learn how to present scientific arguments in a fact-based and convincing manner. They will practise how to build credibility, how to handle critical questions, and how to communicate confidently on social media or in interviews. During fixed workshop sessions, they will benefit from in-depth discussion and personalised feedback from experienced lecturers – regardless of location and with a practical focus.

General conditions and key data

  • Duration: Two half-days (each 3.5 hours incl. breaks)
  • Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • Maximum number of participants: 10 people
  • Languages: Deutsch
  • After successful participation you will receive a certificate
  • We would be happy to share the training evaluation results with you afterward.
  • At the end of the first day, you will receive an assignment to be completed and discussed together by the second session. Please make sure to allocate sufficient time for completing the assignment.

Technical Requirements

The online workshop is conducted using the video conferencing software Zoom. If exercises are included in the training context, they are carried out using Google Office solutions (e.g., Google Docs or Google Forms). These applications are used within the framework of the GDPR-compliant enterprise solution Google G Suite.
Participants do not need a personal Google account to use these tools.
All tools used (Zoom & G Suite) have been reviewed for data protection compliance and meet GDPR requirements**, ensuring that participants’ personal data is protected.
