David Lohner

David Lohner ist seit Juni 2025 als Didaktiker und Learning Experience Designer am NaWik tätig. Nach seinem Studium (Geografie & Germanistik) wandte er sich der Wissensvermittlung im Hochschulbereich zu und blickt inzwischen auf mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung medialer Bildungsangebote zurück. Für seine innovative Lehre erhielt er 2021 den Fakultätslehrpreis der KIT-Fakultät für Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften und promoviert in der Hochschuldidaktik zur Gestaltung digitaler Lehrformate. Er ist Mitglied im Vorstand der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Hochschuldidaktik (dghd). Ihm ist die persönliche Kompetenzentwicklung ein besonderes Anliegen, weshalb für ihn bei der Gestaltung von Lernprozessen soziokulturelle, pädagogische und technische Aspekte gleichermaßen berücksichtigt werden sollte.

Since June 2025, David Lohner has been working as a didactician and learning experience designer at NaWik. Following his studies in Geography and German Studies, he turned his focus to learning in higher education. He now brings over a decade of experience in developing media-based educational resources. In recognition of his innovative teaching, he was awarded the Faculty Teaching Prize in 2021 by the KIT Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in higher education, with a research focus on the design of digital learning formats. David Lohner serves on the board of the German Society for Academic Development (dghd). His work is particularly informed by a commitment to fostering individual learning and competence development. As such, he emphasizes the integration of sociocultural, pedagogical, and technological dimensions in the design of educational processes.
